Well....we hope all is well with our engine now.....the leaks source has been discovered and stopped....the engine picked up something in the intake that heated it up some creating  steam/vapor to come out the exhaust.....first thought it was white smoke.....that has since been cleared up and we were having trouble with our radio at the helm but once we replaced the plug
for the radio antenna (had a   new one I had soldered on at Aqua) it has worked better than ever....range....voice clarity...AIS all improved. Who knows what will be next before we get to Twin Dolphins Marina but hopefully nothing more serious than any of these!!!

someone has to find the next buoy....
Once we hit the Tenn-Tom we had 450 miles to go to Mobile and the ICW.  There are twelve locks total.....right now ...sitting at Columbus, MS we have five more to go for a total of 164 foot drop. Total of 335 miles or so to the ICW.

More barge traffic as we go.....
most of the marina's are ready for Halloween......

We are heading down the Tenn-Tom....so far the boat has been running great....we did replace the raw water pump.....will have the old one rebuilt in FL for back-up. We have been having a slow fuel leak....and finally tracked it down to a small nut on top of fuel pump being loose. When we tightened that up we probably locked some air in the system...engine cut out when leaving Aberdeen Marina and our buddy boat towed us back!! Thanks Sea Fever!!

The way in to Aberdeen Marina......you would never think there was a marina down there!!

story time before bed.....

study time on-board Brisa....
we hit every playground we find....this one is at Aqua Marina in MS

looking down river at the end of another day...

It's been several day's since we have had a good internet connection along the way. We have seen a number of sailboats with the WiFi Boosters on board to help strengthen existing signals....we need to look into that more when we reach Florida. We have continued to to see more and more boats travelling south.....many loopers as they are called. Sailboats without their masts from the Great Lakes.....they shipped their masts to Mobile....then they will be sailboats again. Just like our trip up the Rivers to TN we continue to meet great people from all over the world....and obviously many from the South. It continues to be a great trip,

More and more barge traffic as we go,,,,

Guntersville Marina and Sailing Club.......we enjoyed our stay there very much with bad weather and all,,,,

Had a little air show over the weekend....

Another beautiful day as we head towards our next stop...an anchorage in Raccoon Creek. First we had to go through Nickajack Lock and Dam and wait for a railroad bridge to rise so we could get through.

Some visitors at anchor....

Along the way to Hales Bar Marina

Looking back at Hales Bar Marina as we are leaving...

Time to leave Chattanooga...had a great stay...had a few sailboats join us at dock from Guntersville, Alabama
