It has been awhile since our last post...sorry about that,,,,but....we have been busy. First we made our way over to Placida Florida where we had Brisa pulled and we prepared her for a few month rest. Then we headed to New Hampshire and the Boston area to visit family and friends before flying out of Miami for Colombia S.A. Which is where we are now until we head back to Brisa for a new cruising season!! We will see you then....

We have left Twin Dolphin Marina....1st of March. Had a nice year or so there and as usual met allot of great people.....some we hope to stay in touch with over the years. Will add some photos to go along with this soon I hope. After Twin Dolphin we had a an easy sail to Longboat Key...anchored for the night. No wind at all outside so we stayed inside and made our way down to the Fisherman Wharf Marina in Venice.....nice slip and had dinner at their restaurant...very good. Over the next few nights we anchored out at Pelican Bay...one of out favorite spots. We heard our new Solar panel arrived at our friend John's ....now we had to work out connecting with him and replacing our older 80 watt panel...which is not working at 100% with the new 140 Watt panel. Long story short...we met John at Burnt Store Marina and with his help got the new panel installed and working!! Thanks John!!

We remain at Burnt Store Marina.....looking to head back to Pelican Bay....dingy over to Cabbage Key for a hamburger...before looking for a mooring ball down at Ft Myers Beach!!

Time flys for sure....it was time for me to fly down to South America...Colombia and close on our new condo in Floridablanca. Spent about two weeks in Colombia between Bogota (visiting Elizabeth's family) and Bucaramanga/Floridablanca...closing on condo waiting for all of our things to arrive from the states etc....all went well...had a great time.....look forward to returning with Elizabeth and Daniel in July after we do some cruising in Brisa!!

Small jet from Bogota to Bucaramanga...problems with regular plane so they sent me an e-mail next day saying I had a free round trip ticket to anywhere within Colombia for the inconvenience....
